Godlies sit at the center of everything in MM2. They're the main trading currency, the most recognized items in any lobby, and the first real target for players trying to build a serious inventory.

Getting one is a different story. There are multiple ways to obtain a Godly in MM2, but not all of them are worth your time. Some rely almost entirely on luck, others require patience and a bit of strategy, and a few can get you there much faster if you know what you're doing.

Trading for MM2 Godlies

MM2 trading is the most reliable way to get a Godly. Unlike crates or crafting, it doesn't rely on luck. You build value over time and exchange it for exactly what you want.

The basic approach is trading up. You start with whatever items you have, find players willing to trade one better item for a few lower-value ones, and keep repeating that process until you have enough value for a Godly. It takes time, but it's the method most experienced players rely on.

Before accepting any trade, always check current values using an up-to-date source. The market shifts constantly, and going in without checking puts you at risk of losing value without realizing it.

Opening Crates

Crates are the most straightforward method on paper. You collect coins during matches and spend 1,000 coins per crate for a chance at a Godly. The problem is the odds. The drop rate for a Godly sits at around 1% or less, which means most players open dozens of crates before seeing one.

Knife Box 1 and Gun Box 1 are your best options for regular pulls. Seasonal crates during events like Halloween or Christmas sometimes offer slightly better odds or exclusive Godlies, so those periods are worth saving coins for.

The math makes crate grinding a slow route. You can collect up to 50 coins per match with the Elite Gamepass, or 40 coins without it. At that rate, each crate takes roughly 25 to 35 rounds to afford. For most players, crates work best as a side activity while you focus on trading rather than as a primary method.

Crafting a Godly

Crafting is the closest thing MM2 has to a guaranteed Godly outside of trading. By salvaging Legendary weapons from your inventory, you collect shards that can be used to craft the Seer knife. It requires 10 Legendary weapons to get enough shards for one Seer.

The Seer isn't the most valuable Godly in the game, but it's a solid starting point. Once you have one, it becomes trading currency you can use to work toward higher-value items. Beyond the Seer, crafting options in MM2 are limited. Most Godlies can't be crafted, so this method works best as a one-time step to get your first Godly rather than a long-term strategy.
