I quite often use the terminal to update my system and download software that's not in ubuntu's repositories i went through the update process today and noted payment required in the terminal interface as i read what it says this update is, i don't understand what the updates are if my gut tells me its not ok i will not update it but on this occasion i noted there was an IP address with this notice so i copied and pasted into the browser which lead me to your web site low and behold it came from amazon id purchased a book and paid for it so why are they pasting this into my system it make me want to start all over again is nothing secret these days it almost makes me want to stop using the internet al together
